Some Bugs & Feature Suggestions
BUGS
- the reply notifications that don't redirect correctly to the comment,
- the text that is formatted like a link after posting a link in a comment/reply (you have to go to the line and put a space to write text without link styling, and then click return to make it go back after the link).
- in some replies, there is a "\" or "\n" that is added at the beginning of a sentence in the posted reply (I didn't put it myself). An example here: https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/post/please-join-me-live-and-lets-launch-fluentcommunity?comment_id=6387
NEW FEATURES
- automatically generate the emojis when you type their text equivalent. An example would be :-) => 😀
- be able to edit a comment sent in private (like we are allowed to do in public)
- automatically show the direct link to a comment in the browser bar when you click on this comment (less clicks than the 3 dots > "Copy link")
- a sound alert when you are online (on desktop at least) and receive any type of public or private reply or mention
- be able to select part of a user's comment to reply to it specifically rather than copy-pasting it manually.

Editing comments in the Chat (messeging app) are needed - also some other features - similar to Posts
Chat notification and its configuration would be convenient too.
Also adding related link + link + link so the fTeam can follow if needed
It would be nice to have sound notification for Chat - this could be enabled/disabled by the user in the user profile and it might be useful when fCommunity browser window is open in the background.
I’d like to propose a feature that I find extremely useful—I'd even say essential: in old forums, there was always the "quote" function, where you could select text, copy it, quote it, and then reply underneath, making it clear which part of the text you were responding to.
I have noticed that we can copy a link to a comment from the User Profile > Comments but we are unable to copy link to a comment directly from the comment kebab
