You're right and bbPress is good for that. This is for those who don't want to pay $99/mth costs for a community interface and hosting but like the simplicity of Skool and the flexibility of Circle.
Gaurav Tiwari try the Forum style layout - maybe you will like it and don't forget to share your feedback or ideas so maybe they will be implemented.
Nicolas Daxant you can set it as default per your Space - go to Spaces > click kebab icon > edit Space Settings
Note: we cannot set the List View for all Spaces by Default but you can do it while creating or editing Spaces
Mat List view is definitely better.

do you know if it is possible to migrate a bbpress forum to fluent community ?
