SEO question:
I'm wondering if any thought has been given to SEO. Will RankMath/Yoast be able to index the pages? I know it's supposed to be gated, but although Facebook requires registration you can still find groups on Google. I think this could be a very good vertical in operation and growing communities. Maybe to peek at the community for non-logged-in and non-members like you can when you enter a locked Facebook community you're not a member of.

Should it be gated? Is there no option to set the whole portal to visible? And require registration for comments?
I have not installed the beta, but I was really hoping to have this open to public so everyone can view the content.
Wilco W, you can configure you fCommunity to be visible to Public (not only to registered users) - I am not sure if you are asking for this or your question is related to general SEO question.
Once you configure your fCommunity to Public you can also apply created Spaces or Coursce Privacy to Public so they are accesible without loggin-in.
Please read the unofficial starter guide in case you are just starting the configuration so it might be easier for you to test it out.
