Sell subscription-based view-access to posts - Does my stack make sense?
I have 200+ sample essays I want to sell paid view-only access to as long as they are still a paying subscriber to my community.
Here’s the setup I’m thinking:
User purchases membership subscription in SureCart.
SurelyWP Toolkit adds FCRM ‘member’ tag which controls access to my Fluent Community.
Member makes one-time purchase to access ‘Harvard Career Essay’ post.
SurelyWP Toolkit adds FCRM tag called ‘sample: 1’ to their contact. (Each post / sample essay would be numbered.) This FCRM tag combined with ‘member’ tag makes them able to see the content on the post page.
Member cancels their membership subscription in SureCart customer dashboard.
SurelyWP removes ‘member’ tag which revokes access to view the sample as well.

Thoughts? Improvements? Would using WP Fusion Lite (free) make this easier somehow?
Update 1: Ok so I think I need WP Fusion Pro. I’m just confused about whether I need SurelyWP Toolkit as well.
Update 2: It looks like I need WP Fusion Pro only - or - the setup above with WP Fusion Lite controlling content restriction.
The setup above is much more cost effective though more complex.
If you can hold off I'll have this type of automation available in my suite of plugins

Tindaro Battaglia you mean expanding the link visibility options? That is coming in a completely redesigned FCA Menus plugin. The existing plugin won't be updated.

We're using WP Fusion Lite for this. In particular, we are using it with Simple Download Monitor, you can just set which tag(s) have access to each download. So you could sell individual downloads but also have a membership that gives access to all.
Jonathan Gwyer would this still work if I don’t want them to be downloads? I want to restrict viewing access to certain posts they have purchased without creating 200+ SureMembers Access Groups.
Kaneisha G. WPFusion lets you restrict access to pages/post types/etc. and you can then give access via whatever tag you want and acts like a membership plugin. Since FluentCRM does not give access to pages/posts via tagging (odd they don't) you kind of have to add another layer on top of that to protect those posts.

But WP Fusion Lite would do the trick for hiding posts/pages.
If you want to hide specific blocks within posts/pages, but have the rest visible, then you need WP Fusion Pro.
Jonathan Gwyer in the video title, it says it can be used on posts and pages using the Conditional FluentCRM Block.
They cover it at 1:33 in the video. Not sure why the written docs don’t make this explicitly clear since this could save folks from needing to install WP Fusion Lite.
I don’t think I’m missing something but maybe I am!

Kaneisha G. I've just tried out the Conditional Section on one of my sites and it should do the trick.
So you could have an intro to the post you want to protect, the content that's protected within that conditional section, then anything below.
The interface on the WP Fusion equivalent is a bit more flexible and probably easier to use if you're going to have lots of tags, but the FCRM version should do the trick for you.

Kaneisha G. Yeah a conditional block, what if you want to protect the whole page though. Not really a viable solution.
