Review After Intensive Use of FluentCommunity
So far, I have used FluentCommunity to launch over 15 online courses, each containing over 50 sections and lessons.
Here are a few points for improvement based on my experience:
1. The login page does not have Dark Mode, which strains the eyes π.
2. The login page is not translated; it displays βWelcomeβ regardless of the selected language.
3. The Dark Mode should have a βSystem OSβ option to match the computerβs settings: dark mode if the system is in dark mode, or light mode if the system is in light mode.
4. It would be great to disable the feed or the ability for members to post content. Currently, itβs possible to disable this feature in a space, but not on the main feed.
5. The βAdd a sectionβ bar in βCoursesβ should be sticky, so we donβt have to scroll all the way up to add a section when thereβs a lot of content in a course.
6. There is no integration with Bunny.net, so I use the IFRAME code provided by Bunny. However, on mobile, the page isnβt well-adapted due to the video, even though the βResponsiveβ toggle is enabled on Bunny. Itβs not a major issue, but it does affect the layout, which is a bit unfortunate.
7. The integration with FluentCRM is fantastic. However, it would be helpful to add automation options, such as triggering an action when a user completes a course. Currently, the available actions are somewhat limited, even though they are impressive.
8. I have encountered a bug when selecting a custom icon or image for my courses. Iβm not referring to the featured image but the icon displayed in the sidebar. It would be great to use an SVG or a PNG icon.
I believe that covers the main areas of improvement or bugs Iβve noticed so far. Iβll try to create some videos to demonstrate the issues Iβm experiencing and post them in the comments of this publication. Hopefully, Iβll be able to share these videos by this weekend.
Thanks again to Shahjahan JewelΒ and the entire team for this incredible plugin πͺ!
Thank you so much Nasser-eddine BENAZIZAΒ for a detailed review and feedback. It means a lot. π
