Rankings Triggers
We need triggers for the actual leaderboards. For example. While a member is in the weekl top 5, we could trigger a top 5 badge. if another member is in the all time top 5 we could trigger another type of badge and unlock a course.
Partners for FluentCommunity does something similar. It should be released in a few days.

Ceez Vision It's been out for about a month. Sorry I lost track of this conversation. I announced here. Download. Purchase. I changed my answer above to "Partner does something similar". It doesn't work exactly as you are asking for, but does give a LOT of customization options for the activity board, which replaces leader board.
