Solved: FluentAuth β make "Forgot password?" link always use FluentCommunity reset page (thanks Ruman Ahmed!)
I'm facing an issue with the "Forgot password?" link depending on the plugin installation order:
- When I install WooCommerce first, and then FluentCommunity, the "Forgot password?" link on the FluentCommunity login page points to WooCommerceβs default:
/account/lost-password/ - In this case, I canβt find a way to force FluentCommunity to use its own default reset password link:
/community/?fcom_action=auth&form=reset_password - However, if I install FluentCommunity first, and then WooCommerce afterward, the reset link works fine and stays as FluentCommunityβs default.
π Is there a way to force FluentCommunity to always use its default reset password link, even if WooCommerce was installed first?
Thanks in advance for any guidance from the team or community! π
It is the default functionality of FluentCommunity to redirect users to the WordPress default "Lost Password" URL if the WooCommerce lost password page is not set.
However, since you are using both FluentCommunity and WooCommerce, and would prefer to force users to use the FluentCommunity reset password URL (?fcom_action=auth&form=reset_password) instead, please follow the steps below:
Steps to Force Redirect to FluentCommunity Password Reset Page:
- Install and Activate FluentAuth: Please install and activate the FluentAuth plugin from the WordPress repository. Itβs completely free: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/fluent-security/].
- Enable Shortcode Login Forms: Once installed, navigate to FluentAuth β Login or Signup Forms and enable the Shortcode Login Form settings. Hereβs a screenshot for reference:

After enabling this, the lost password URL will be set and automatically redirect to ?fcom_action=auth&form=reset_password as expected.

Ruman AhmedΒ Confirm: I followed the instructions and the "Forgot password" problem was solved, Thank you very much π
Ruman AhmedΒ But there is a problem with Social Login, the "Login with Google" button is not showing up even though it is fully set up. I tried the process of installing "FluentCommunity & FluentAuth" first then installing WooCommerce and the "Login with Google" button shows up normally. So how to fix this problem π
Hoang HxnΒ Thank you for letting me know! This is not supposed to happen, as itβs working perfectly on our end.
