I’ve been building an AI-powered business operating system on top of the Fluent stack (CRM, Cart, Boards, Community, Support, Forms, Affiliate), and I’ve reached a point where I think the community needs to come together.

THE SITUATION

Right now, there are scattered MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for individual Fluent plugins:

• FluentBoards MCP → 18 tools (open source, by @danieliser)

• FluentCRM MCP → 34 tools (open source, by Netfly App)

• FluentCart MCP → 279 tools (open source, by @vcode-sh / fchub.co)

That’s 331 tools available for free across 3 plugins.

But there’s nothing for Fluent Support, Fluent Community, Fluent Forms, or FluentAffiliate. The only option covering the full ecosystem is a commercial product priced at $497–$1,497 per site called FluentMCP

THE PROPOSAL

Let’s build one unified, official, open-source MCP server for the entire Fluent ecosystem.

One repository. One authentication. All 7+ plugins.

Here’s what already exists (open source, MIT/GPL):

• ✅ FluentCart — 279 tools (fchub.co)
• ✅ FluentBoards — 18 tools (danieliser)
• ✅ FluentCRM — 34 tools (netflyapp)
• ❌ Fluent Support — REST API exists, no MCP server
• ❌ Fluent Community — REST API exists, no MCP server
• ❌ Fluent Forms — REST API exists, no MCP server
• ❌ FluentAffiliate — REST API exists (undocumented), no MCP server

All of these plugins already expose REST APIs with WordPress Application Password authentication. Building an MCP wrapper is straightforward: each tool is roughly ~20 lines of TypeScript using the official @modelcontextprotocol/sdk.

WHY THIS MATTERS

AI agents are the future of how we interact with business software.

Claude, Cursor, Codex, Windsurf — they all support MCP now.

The Fluent ecosystem already has one of the most complete REST API surfaces in the WordPress world, with ~1,100+ endpoints across all plugins.

Having an official, community-maintained MCP server would:

1. Make the Fluent stack the most AI-ready WordPress ecosystem
2. Allow solo founders to run entire businesses with AI agents
3. Attract developers building AI-first workflows
4. Position Fluent as the WordPress platform for the agentic era
5. Remove the need for expensive third-party solutions

WHAT I’M OFFERING

I’m willing to contribute to this effort with developing my AI team and testing / feedback from a real production environment

PROPOSED ARCHITECTURE

The FluentCart MCP by @vcode-sh already solved the hardest problem: dynamic tool discovery.

Instead of loading all 279 tools (~30K tokens), it uses 3 meta-tools (~1.5K tokens) that discover and execute on demand.

That’s a 96% token reduction.

We should follow the same pattern for the unified server:

• 3 meta-tools for discovery + execution
• All 7 plugins as modules
• Single WordPress Application Password authentication
• Compatibility with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, and any MCP client

THE ASK

Shahjahan Jewel  — tagging the Fluent team — would you consider:

1. Creating an official fluent-mcp repository under the WPManageNinja GitHub organization?
2. Coordinating with the existing GitHub contributors (@danieliser, Netfly App, @vcode-sh) to unify efforts?
3. Making MCP support a first-class feature of the Fluent ecosystem?

The REST APIs are already there. The open-source MCP servers prove the pattern works. We just need to bring it all together.
