Problem with Course Admin / Course Creator Roles
I was just working with creating some Roles and discovered a problem. If I use either Course Admin or Course Creator, or even both roles selected at once, it only works for published courses.
Otherwise, the user account, which is a WordPress Subscriber, does not get any interface to see the Courses header menu or the Manage Courses menu. If a course is published, then they see the menus and can work on the published course.
That sort of defeats the purpose of a Course Creator role that cannot create a course.
The All Access (Admin) role works fine, and those users can handle both space discussion moderation and course creation/administration.
I believe they need to have the editor role to function like that and yes, I don't like that it is like that.
J V Thanks, I'll give that a try. Not sure why we can grant All Access with a Subscriber and not a Course Admin or Creator.
