Please test the Hamburger Icon, Or all icons on an actual Mobile device. Personally I think they are too small and tight together.

Ryk Melck or it is a time to buy a bigger smartphone - Nokia3310 might not be the best for the fCommunity. Anyway... definatelly UI improvement is needed for Mobile.
