Only Avatar Pic is gone by activating Plugin EWWW Image Optimizer Plugin

Since the last update the avatar pic is gone. Before it was fine! It is only in the right top corner. Other places are okay (profile, timeline / feed and so on).

I tried also pushing again newest version of plugin via WP Plugin install. But did not work.

Now I found out: by deactivation of EWWW Image Optimizer - everything in the right corner works again.
