Nothing is working
So I bought the plugin installed it and configured it. It asked me to pick a slug for community so I chose something different than "portal". Now, when I got to that page I get a 404. Tried changing it back in the setting to "portal" but when I try to enter it I'm redirected to the customized slug and then still get a 404.
I was able now to get to the setting page in the community but the layout is all messed up.
Would you please make sure you have installed the latest version of the plugin?
Current Versions:
- FluentCommunity Core: 1.0.92
- FluentCommunity Pro: 1.0.91
Maybe you can delete both and reinstall. Also please ensure you have the permalink set to any other than plain. Change the permalinks once if you still see the 404.
Shahjahan Jewel, Great, I updated it to 1.0.92 and it's working now as expected.
Assaf Manor, awesome. enjoy. The latest version is also compatible with RTL.
Shahjahan Jewel, it looks like there is still some issue with the changed slug name.
When I change it in wp-admin and logout the user (also I needed update toe FluentAuth redirection so the Subscribers are going to the new /slug) the users could access the changed /slug for some time.
Today the /newsSlug is not allowing to access that Portal (permalink was overwritten again).
I will try to find if any other plugin is causing it but when a regular user is logged via /wp-admin form then the /neeSlug is working as expected.
Not tested in this case, just in general in such cases: Check if some plugin or cloudflare is caching your site. Delete the cache.
I think I found a work-around for this.
Even if you change the default slug try visiting /portal anyways - this solved the blank pages for me and seems to have corrected the slugs after trying to change it a few times.
Then after that you can visit your custom slug.
Often you have to resave Permalinks in the WP Settings.
