Not sure if this is a multisite issue (we use your community plugin on it), but for every user, your plugin uses username2 instead of the original username? from WP?
When I update the username via FluentCommunity > Profile Edit, I can remove the "2" without a problem.
But the question is: why the hell does your plugin add the 2? 😀
the issue has been resolved in the dev version. We will release an update today.

Yes, I set up multisite today as sub-directories and it is requiring me to use the 2025 theme only, not kadence or astra. I just got a critical error message when attempting to "visit" the site. Kinda stuck right now as to next step. I need 4 levels of sorting and Fluent Community only has 3 levels (group, discussion space, and topic) so I thought multisite would take care of the first 2 sort levels (state and city). hmmm. trying to figure this out. suggestions welcomed. thank you.
Lori Bennett i think you must provide proper error logs for the Fluent team, so they can investigate.
I'm using the Astra theme and it works fine.
Multisite is set up with subdirectories and we mapped custom domains on each site.
Thanks for the info. I am a newbie to the multisite concept so am still learning. I've used Astra in the past without problems.
Florian - does the multisite feature subdivide fluent community so visitors on one particular subdirectories site will have their own spot in the fluent community plug-in or do all visitors of all the multi sites on a website visit the same fluent community portal?
Lori Bennett Their technical wp logins may be the same, but you have to give them access to each subdirectory and fluent community, cause they are separated
So, are you saying that with WP Multisite set up as subdirectories, Brooklyn, NY private members will have a subdirectory in WP and within the Fluent Community portal, so they will not see or have access to the Los Angeles, California Fluent Community portal?
Don’t mean to keep bothering you but this is the primary need that my project has. I greatly appreciate your insight. TY
Lori Bennett I think that will be doable with or without a multi site soon, using Fluent CRM Pro to tag a user apon joining and WPFusion Lite(free version) to show and hide page content once Fluent Community allows us to embed spaces into Wordpress pages, which I believe they said they are working on
Multisite website requires multiple Fluent Community licenses. Now it makes sense to me. Thanks again for your insight Florian.
