myCred is integrating with FC!

I've been in talks with myCred because it's the best gamification solution for WordPress, and they're finally getting their FC integration done! It'll be released asap. So if you're about to make your Fluent Community gamified, I suggest to wait for myCred integration, it's really the best of all gamification plugins. I have nothing against other gamification solutions, but myCred is really the best - best code quality, best and open minded team.

myCred is integrating with FC!

WiLson Eberechi

These things you posted here is already available on Gamipress bro.

You said you have nothing against other gamification plugin solution, you could have just praise your Mycred without discrediting other people's hardwork. Mycred is not the best gamification plugin, Gamipress is.

I am speaking because I've compared both and mycred is not the best, Gamipress will always be the best, everyone here knows Gamipress and some uses Gamipress.

  1. First of all, Gamipress is free, mycred is not.
  2. Almost all softwares and plugins are using integration with Gamipress. You can literally install, Kadence theme, fluentcrm, fluentform, Asta, blocky, edd, download manager, elementor, wordpress, prestoplayer, Vimeo, sitemap, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, tiktok, WhatsApp, telegram, birthday, anniversary, donation, charity, MailChimp, etc, and you get tasks/triggers/actions for your members on your site to perform with them and earn points, rank, badges. For example: if members watches a YouTube video on your FC site, they earn points, badges, ranks. Or if members purchase a product(edd) they earn points, ranks and badges. I'll like to see mycred do this for FC though.
  3. Gamipress has their own automator plugin known as Automatorwp, this automoator which I am using helps a lot, which i am not sure mycred has an automator, if they have please tell me. Fluent community has an automator known as fluentcrm, just as Gamipress has automatorwp.
  4. Gamipress has over 50 personal add-ons(points to cash, notification, congratulations pop ups, social share, referral, nomination, buy points, etc) and over 100 3rd party add-ons(astra theme, Kadence theme, uncanny, charity, download manager, edd, prestoplayer, etc).
  5. Whatever plugin you install on your wordpress, as long as Gamipress is active, it will read it and create tasks/triggers/actions for you to use for your members which they'll earn points, ranks and badges.
  6. Gamipress is so easy to configure, down-to-earth editing, simple API maneuver system. You don't even need to be an intermediate in coding to use their product.
  7. They are a lot I'd love to say about Gamipress but let me stop for now.

You have no idea what youre talking. But I can give facts:

  1. Gamipress code is so bad that its literally impossible to integrate next level things on top of it the way it can be done with mycred. I can explain further if you need it.
  2. Gamipress team closed the doors to me when I proposed social mining solution to them, without even looking at anything. Closed mind, closed code.
  3. Gamipress doesnt have and never will have (as far as I know) decimals. How can it be best if it doesnt have the main feature of numbers in a plugin that is only supposed to work with numbers?
  4. With all the possible respect, but their code is for them, not for the world. They dont care about making things perfect, half baked code and nonsense hooks is how they bake it.
  5. I dont think you care about more advanced things than just little integrations, i care about future proof architecture, therefore im confident about what im saying.
  6. Your very first sentence is a lie/not true. Mycred and gami have the same free versions and all addons, theyre the same in terms of pricing. But since you mentioned addons/features, i gotta say another fact - mycred has more features, not only better architecture and code.
  7. I dont think there is another person on this planet who would have dived so deep in both mycre and gami, code and database and architecture, building things on top that nobody even tried to build because its very complex and requires more knowledge than WP plugins code. So im confident about what im saying. CTO of the most advanced hosting for WP says the same what I say. And you, in your very first sentence already failed with your facts but still wrote a lot of other irrelevant sentences.

WiLson Eberechi

So the advance thing you're talking about is social mining(crypto)? Not every country accepts crypto mining or payments, even Google play store deleted one of my accounts because of crypto payments.

First of all, Gamipress author is Spanish(Europe) and they're very strict with crypto.

Why would you jump into something without doing some findings.

If I create a website or app, calling it investment website or mining crypto or crypto investment Ponzi site, my website would be suspended or some hosting companies would ask for identification card if you're lucky.

I'll like you to show me mycred doing the social mining for you, I can't wait to see that.

Cointacter

WiLson EberechiΒ its me who did social mining, not mycred or gamipress. I have it already now for mycred, will also do for gamipress, but with gami its limited in terms of quality architecture. And i can show it but i think it would be waste of time here now. Everything else you talk is mostly nonsense bro. Go compare code, plugins architecture, then come back. I did more findings than you can imagine, and i explained it in my previous comment.

David Scurlock

Jesus, I vote for gamipress, and i haven't even taken the time to set it up yet but the word is that gamipress is easy to setup while mycred has more of a learning curve.

WiLson Eberechi

David ScurlockΒ yes gamipress is easy and is the best. Almost everyone here on FC uses Gamipress. Nobody even look at mycred.

And Gamipress has an automator known as Automatorwp.

I've also assisted someone here in setting gamipress up on her FC site.

Go to the FC search and type gamification and you'll see gamipress popping up

Cointacter

David ScurlockΒ theyre both exactly the same in terms of setup. In fact, gami has some nonsense in its setup, im 100% sure you will be editing your rewards structure and wont understand how to actually save it properly doing it the first time, you will see. πŸ˜‰ Mycred has better architecture, im not saying anything else. Gamipress doesnt even have decimals, how can it be better? Gamipress code and database tables are so unorganized that its impossible to get neither Post ID nor url of the actual post for which reward was given. Of course, regular admins dont care about such advanced quality things. Of course, regular admins who need simple gamification can use either without impact on anything, thats exactly why im going to support both mycred and gami with my social mining stuff, and with gamipress it wont be so smooth and perfect like with mycred or even native FC points.

Cointacter

WiLson EberechiΒ again nonsense came from your keyboard. Go search for social network solutions for wordpress, im sure FluentCommunity wont be the first to see. Youre talking complete nonsense.

WiLson Eberechi

Why are you editing your post and comments? now you're changing your words whenever I comment. Because you know your first post and first comment before editing was actually sh!T. I can't go back to reading edited post and comments bro. Bye bro

Cointacter

WiLson EberechiΒ i didnt edit the post. I edited my comments by adding more facts. The only shit here is your nonsense sentences that arent even true.

The reason i made this post is because i personally got excited that finally mycred will work with FC, and me knowing it is the best of all and having my last years spent building things on top of both, i share truly real facts because this is what i breathe. Again, for regular admins it doesnt matter, but for example CTO of rapyd host says exactly what im saying. And all you said is mycred aint free while gami is and other nonsense which isnt even true.

Charlotte

WiLson EberechiΒ They do keep editing. Seems overly self-critical imo

Cointacter

Charlotte DΒ what does comment editing have to do with any facts? Im in the Phone, its not that comfortable with a small device. But why im saying this, you aint got no heart and human sense.

When youre losing then you start talking irrelevant things, because with relevant things youre just not right and you know it. Im sure the red T-Shirt guy would fit your style, you both talk nonsense. I dont like red color, i stand for the truth. Im aquarius not a badass scorpio or leo

Charlotte

[off-screen voiceover] Does the audience know that the author of this post is here to market their own crypto plugin - one that, apparently, is dependent on mycred and does not work with Gamipress? Or is that something they discover in the coming days? πŸŽ™οΈ

/s in case I need to add it

Cointacter

Charlotte DΒ what you say is very not true.

  1. My plugin wont come out in days. And im here not just to market it. Even if I was, so what? Better Messages author didnt post anything here except his plugin, and its very normal, while my posts dont even mention my plugin.
  2. It will also support gamipress as much as possible, exactly the same way mycred will. Its just that mycred architecture is better and it has decimals. And my product isnt dependant neither on mycred nor on gamipress.
  3. I clearly said and explained why mycred is better, i did it multiple times. If you dont understand it then why youre bothering?
  4. Read what i write first when youre referring to my words, otherwise youre just putting words into my mouth.
  5. I dont care who uses what. I only care about facts and i stand for the truth by any means.
  6. And my plugin is not a crypto plugin. It doesnt need to use any crypto or blockchain to function or to be used with all features. Blockchain features can be turned off/on. But yes, crypto stuff in my plugin is next level, no competition ☺️

Abby W

I am excited about the upcoming integrations!!! Not having much experience with these plugins, I’m now eager to do some deep dives πŸ”₯

Cointacter

Abby WΒ gamipress has only one thing better, name and domain. And Merry Christmas! πŸ˜‰

Chris Davis

+100 for Gamipress. Been using it for years for Gamification and deep integration with my CRM and to perform Member Scoring on ANY member in my site.

Mycred integration will hopefully inspire Gamipress to continue to develop aggressively. That way we all win.

Cointacter

Chris DavisΒ i hope you will never need decimals. What can i say, 100% youre saying πŸ˜€

Gamipress itself doesnt have a single game addon while its name starts with gami. Mycred has. Gami doesnt have decimals while the only purpose it has, its working with numbers. Mycred has. Gami code and tables is spanish chaos. Mycred is indian. Regular sites and admins dont care, im not saying they should care. They should build their businesses, not look for perfect future Proof Plugins. In some projects i could use gami, but knowing what i know, i will Always prefer mycred.

myCred vs. GamiPress – Technical & Architectural Comparison

1) Core architecture

myCred is designed as a points accounting system. Its core primitive is a transaction ledger where every balance change is explicitly recorded and contextualized. Gamification elements (badges, ranks, limits) are layered on top of this ledger.

GamiPress is designed as a gamification event system. Points, achievements, and ranks are driven by triggers and requirements, with state spread across multiple subsystems rather than anchored to a single accounting record.

2) Database design and auditability

myCred

  • Uses a dedicated transaction log as the single source of truth.
  • Each reward or deduction is a discrete entry with a reference and contextual data.
  • Balances can be reconstructed by replaying log deltas.
  • Auditing is straightforward because the ledger is authoritative.

GamiPress

  • Splits state across multiple custom tables (logs, user earnings, and meta tables).
  • β€œWhat happened” is represented in different ways depending on context (event logs vs. earnings records).
  • Auditing requires correlating multiple tables and interpreting event semantics, which increases complexity and ambiguity.

3) Context loss (post ID / post URL problem)

A critical architectural weakness in GamiPress is that its reward records are not reliably tied to the originating content:

  • In many reward flows, the system does not store the post ID or post URL for which points were awarded.
  • Rewards are associated with abstract triggers or achievements rather than the concrete content that caused them.
  • Once the event has fired, the link between the reward and the original post is effectively lost or unavailable in a consistent, queryable way.

This makes it impossible to:

  • Trace a reward back to a specific post or URL.
  • Build reliable reward histories that reference real content.
  • Perform precise audits or external integrations that require content-level provenance.

This is not a limitation of WordPressβ€”it is a consequence of architectural choices. It indicates that the system was built around β€œevent success” rather than long-term data integrity and traceability.

4) Decimals

myCred

  • Supports decimal point values.
  • Enables fractional earning, proportional rewards, precise pricing, and accurate accounting models.

GamiPress

  • Points are integer-only.
  • Fractional rewards are rounded or truncated, reducing precision and limiting economic models.

5) Gamification feature parity

myCred includes all practical gamification elements:

  • Points
  • Badges (achievement equivalents)
  • Ranks

From a functional standpoint, myCred covers the same gamification outcomes as GamiPress. The difference is not in what can be achieved, but in how cleanly and reliably it is implemented.

6) Capability coverage

  • myCred matches GamiPress on gamification features.
  • myCred exceeds GamiPress in accounting quality, precision (decimals), auditability, and data traceability.
  • GamiPress does not provide capabilities that myCred fundamentally lacks, while myCred provides capabilities that GamiPress cannot match due to architectural constraints.

Conclusion

myCred is clean, ledger-first, and auditable. It preserves context, supports decimals, and treats accounting as a first-class concern.

GamiPress is event-driven and fragmented, with critical context (such as post ID or URL) often lost at the data level. This limits auditability, integration quality, and long-term reliability, and reflects architectural decisions that prioritize triggers over data integrity.

In short:
myCred is a solid accounting foundation with gamification on top.
GamiPress is a gamification system without a strong accounting foundation.

can we know when it will be fully integrated?
