My weekly digest just stopped.
Hi,
Two weeks ago my weekly digest just stopped dead. I'm not sure if it was tied to a specific update I applied. At the moment I am running the latest version of community (1.2.15) pro and nothing going. I can see in the logs of the hosting providers that they never got the request. So, what do I do from here?
Eddie
Do you have server side cron setup?
Shahjahan JewelΒ No, I am not user server side cron. Also there has been no configuration changes to the system since it failed except plugins updated. I guess I will have to roll the community and theme updates as one of these is likely to be at the root, no?
Thanks, Eddie
Shahjahan JewelΒ i have server side cron (serverAvatar). Same experience. Digest not sending.
Hi,
Me again on this digest issue. I seem to have two issues here. I resolved one (related to WP 6.8.1) and I am now debugging the second, which looks to be related to conflicting plugins) but having issues during testing. I am running the latest Fluent Community plugin with WP 6.6.2, WP SMTP and WP Control (used to view the cron jobs).
After an initial run, which was successful, I rescheduled the job to run again later in the same day (then manually run the 'fluent_community_scheduled_hour_jobs' to get the daily digest job picked up). I can see the 'fluent_community_send_dailydigestinit' scheduled event in WPCron. I can run it manually (even though it is scheduled for later in the week) and it outputs the details below but with no mails sent (even where there are updates since the last run - just in case this required).
Is there a daily limitation on the number of times the weekly digest can run?

Eddie TurboΒ Yes, if it has been run within the last 6 days, it will just skip.
Hi Shahjahan Jewel, thanks for that. Is there a way to override this behaviour? (Otherwise this could be the longest running debug session in history - I will have forgotten what I did between each weekly session)
Thanks,
Eddie
