Minimalism on a WordPress Site: Light as a Ninja 🥷

A WordPress site should be fast and precise, like a ninja: no extra moves, just what’s needed. Too many plugins slow it down, but minimalism with FluentCommunity keeps it agile and responsive.

Why Less is More?

More plugins mean slower loading. A fast site pleases users and search engines, and it’s easier to maintain. A ninja carries only essentials—your site should too.

What’s Needed for 1000 Concurrent Visitors with FluentCommunity?

  • Hosting: VPS with Nginx or OLS, 4 cores, 8-12 GB RAM, 100 GB SSD.
  • Setup: Nginx or OpenLiteSpeed, latest PHP, optimized database.
  • Plugins: Up to 10-12, including FluentCommunity.
  • Speed: 2-3 sec load time, 200-400 ms server response.

FluentCommunity adds 20-30% load, so caching (LiteSpeed Cache with OLS or WP Rocket with Nginx) and a CDN are must-haves. Kadence is simpler, Blocksy more flexible.

Minimalism means speed and ease. With Kadence or Blocksy, Nginx or OLS, and the right cache (WP Rocket or LiteSpeed Cache), your FluentCommunity site will run smoothly. Cut the excess—and watch it soar!

I have over 40 plugin installed... They are all important to me...

Artur Abakarov

Emmanuella Amos wow, very interesting! can you share the list of plugins?

as Shahjahan Jewel  said some time ago, FC doesn't need any particular cache system, because they have a proper cache inside the plugin

Artur Abakarov

Tindaro Battaglia Shahjahan Jewel you elaborate on that?

Artur Abakarov

Shahjahan Jewel please dispel this myth, I haven't found any prufs on what Tindaro Battaglia said, I'm really looking forward to hear about the built-in caching in fluentcommunity itself and how it works, what it's compatible with or conflicts with.

Artur Abakarov

Tindaro Battaglia thanks for clarifying! much appreciated!

Screenshot for history at the time when the site is still non-public and under maintenance. I hope it won't get too red in real mode of operation.

Kadenc theme root page measurement via LiteSpeed Cache, FluentCommunity on a separate slug with caching excluded.

this will not happen anymore, at the last moment gave up HTML caching, now there is only Redis, and the number of plugins with dynamic content is growing.

Artur Abakarov would love to have an update on how its going
