Manage Multiple Topics in a Space
I really love the manage topics feature and I am just wondering if we could somehow keep them nicely visible for Desktop and Mobile.
I was just playing around to check if there are any lenght or size limits and it looks like it needs some improvements.
There could be a limit for number of topics per Space (not a good idea - who knows if someone wont make a directory and add City names as topics etc). Probably it would be better if we could display multiple topics in max two or three lines and then even if there are more display them as a drop down list or a scroller/slider (especially for Mobile) - admin could decide how to display multiple topics "buttons".
We are thinking of using drop-down. Currently, it's scrolled.
Shahjahan Jewel, scrolling doesnt work for me yet (Desktop) but will test it tomorrow then. IT IS REALLY REALLY NICE - if then at some point we will be able to assign a trigger to the assigned topic then there are endless posibilities - example: a task is being created in fBoard or a ticket is being created in fSupport etc
I also need the multiple topics functionality to help my community quickly find what they are looking for.
Lori Bennett, I am not sure if you are aware but you can use topics already in Pro version just click Settings > Manage Topics when you are logged as Admin and specify your Topics there.
Is there any new update coming on managing topics and how they are displayed. As the community sites get bigger and more complex the ability to use topics/tags become more important. Think courses that aren't attached to a space...
Using a slider with more than a couple of topics/tags is cumbersome and not being able to order the tags/topics when they are being applied or created makes things messy.
CRM Tagging, FluentCommunity Topics ???? Any consolidation upcoming?
