Live video / Group Live video - meeting

I have an interesting tip for you regarding live broadcasts. I use a plugin for displaying custom pages in FluentCommunity (from Ross FCAΒ ) and I created an account on Whereby, where I set up my own broadcasting room. From this room, I generated an HTML embed code for a web page, slightly modified it so it displays nicely on both desktop and mobile, and then inserted it into a custom page that I activated in FluentCommunity. And it works perfectly.

Sounds like a cool feature, MariΓ‘n Ε arayΒ  - how did you create the HTML embed code snippet? Is this a feature of the whereby platform?

And, do you control access to the custom page using FluentCommunity?

John BellinghamΒ The embed code is provided directly by Whereby; I only slightly modified it for better display in FluentCommunity. I didn’t understand the second question β€” what do you mean by it, what are you asking about?

Kaneisha G.

MariΓ‘n Ε arayΒ he’s asking if access to the custom page is given/revoked by Fluent CRM, Suremembers, etc. Does its access restrictions have the same settings as, say, a Fluent Community lesson?

John Bellingham

Thanks MariΓ‘n Ε aray, for your reply. Which subscription is needed for this feature in whereby?

And my second question was around access - what prevents anyone who has the link (but shouldn't have it) from joining a video call?

John BellinghamΒ I have a β€œPro” subscription for about $90 a year. You can enable the β€œknock” feature so that people can only join the room by knocking and you approving them. At the same time, the room is only open when you, as the administrator, are present.

MariΓ‘n Ε arayΒ Great, thanks for sharing, MariΓ‘n.

MariΓ‘n Ε arayΒ which plugin did you use from custom pages (I'm member over at Ross's site) thanks
