Links only opens in new window
Hi there,
Not sure if it's a bug or not, but I've been trying to add links, and no matter where I tried to add links (like in a Space, or on the Feed header) it only opens in a new window. The check box "Open this link in a new tab" is unchecked, yet it still does. I'd like it to open within the community and not in a new tab
Any idea what I could be missing or doing wrong?

I can't reproduce this on my site. If you look at the link in your browser console (example screenshot below), does the link have target="_blank"? Does this happen on different devices? I suspect it is something with your browser that is causing it.
Hi Thomas Oates ! Thank you for thinking along! Appreciate it! I've looked at it and I don't have the target="_blank" (See screenshot).
I've tried on Safari, Chrome, on computer and mobile, and it seems to happen everywhere 🤷🏻♂️

hi check your wp admin > plugins - if any plugin (like SEO or link management plugins) are configured to open all links in a new window/tab. That can override this setting. i tested on my site and if i turn off "open in new window" it will not open in a new window. if you want to see it you can dm me. as i do not want to post link here (my site isn't ready yet).
