Lesson Layouts + Custom Blocks
Hi all - I'm currently working on lesson pages to improve (in my opinion) the overall look and feel of the lesson and have also developed some custom blocks to use within the lessons to add some more function and interactivity.
I'm not a course builder so I'd love some feedback on what you'd like to see from the overall lesson template (sidebars etc) and what sort of blocks that are missing from fcom that you just can't live without.
I've attached a preview of how it's looking just now and some of the blocks I have already made. The big one is a custom youtube (or any host) player that wraps the video, creates custom controls, and gives several options for displaying chapters (side by side, below, timeline view). This will hopefully stop your students being distracted by pop ups or clicking video links to leave your community!
Other blocks include accordion, checklists, cards, buttons, file download cards, call outs, alerts etc.
So - what blocks do you need and do you have any examples of lessons that look great?

Unfortunately, I avoid installing extensions on FC.
It’s already enough of a maze with all the customizations and updates. I want to minimize the risk of an explosion as much as possible!

The current Gutenberg editor does not have the elements to make it pop and catch the eye. Looking forward to see what your custom blocks can do. Let me know if I can test your software.
