Issue with "Secret" Spaces visibility in the navigation menu

Hello,

I am using the Fluent Community plugin and I have a question regarding the visibility of Spaces.

I have created several spaces and set their visibility to "Secret". However, the links to these spaces are still appearing in the navigation menu for all users. When a user who doesn't have access clicks on one of these links, they correctly receive an error message saying "Sorry! this community could not be loaded".

In my opinion, if a space is set to Secret, the link itself should be hidden from the menu for unauthorized users, rather than showing them a link that leads to an error page.

Is there currently a setting or a way to automatically hide these links for users who do not have access to the Secret space?

Thank you.

You are pointing to space links. I don't think you can do that there. Anywhere else I believe they are hidden.

J VΒ I see. However, that feels like a bug or an oversight. If a space is set to 'Secret', its navigation link should logically be hidden from the UI to prevent clutter and confusion.

Since this is the main navigation method for spaces within my community, Shahjahan JewelΒ could you please consider this as a feature request for the next update? The menu should respect the visibility settings of the Space.

Andre GoisΒ You can set the link visibility to specific space/course membership from the link settings.
