Create topic when Wordpress post is made!
#featurerequest Is this possible? Link WordPress post to Community post and use Fluentcommunity for commenting.
I want to be able to use fluentcommunity for the commenting of my content. Just like discourse can do: https://meta.discourse.org/t/use-wp-discourse-to-publish-posts-from-wordpress-to-discourse/223492
If this not possible, is this something for on the roadmap? I know Circle also has something like it, but it's not as sofisticated as Discourse does it.

Shahjahan Jewel for the beginning it might be enough to have an Zapier / API calls in Fluentcommunity.
So we could built something like:
IF post is created in WordPress THEN create topic in Fluentcommunity RETURN topic url. THEN add topic url to custom field.
That way we Atleast can do something like (Comment on this news post/ review / recipe here in the community).
But it will be killer feature if it can function in the future like discourse does (as described in TS).
Mat also curious what you think about this feature :)
Wilco W, all kind of integrations are welcomed but I am not sure if duplicating DB entry is a good practise but I like that idea. WP comments also can be used for spammy activity so it all depends.
I hope there will be an option for two way communication possible via API for posts/comments/chat so probably Discord/MS Teams and other external tools can be integrated to help the Admin manage responses without a need of logging to fCommunity.
any chance this is getting into the product?? Standard wordpress comments suck. It should be possible without duplicate content as many other forum/community software already have achieved this functionality.
