Introducing FluentCommunity 1.3 (Major Update)
Super excited to share that we just released FluentCommunity 1.3.1 with some massive improvements. Our team focused on the course module in this update.
We have rewritten the whole course editor module, Now you can use all the core blocks, including stylings, patterns, images, etc. You can also make a course freely accessible to public users. We put tons of effort on this module along with lots of improvements.

Tjaša Peterle You can do that with Tutor LMS. FluentCommunity is not taking that road (at least that's what the founder had said).

Shahjahan Jewel Interesting about the LiteSpeed caching. I recall you mentioned something a while about when I brought up WP Rocket. Do we need caching, from either WP Rocket or LiteSpeed for this community and some other plugins you sell if we are not using this for publishing posts or pages?
William Beem for FluentCommunity only you don’t need any caching but you just use object caching with redis if your server offers it.

Will you be adding more hooks to your application so other plugins or third-party developers can hook into email settings, group settings, etc.?
Something like window.FluentCommunityUtil.hooks.applyFilters('email_notifications_settings') in JavaScript would be enough for that purpose.
Otherwise, third-party plugins like Better Messages can't fully integrate with the platform.

Just submitted a ticket - #125872 - editing a lesson causes a fatal error if you use the Beaver Builder Theme - works ok if I switch theme.

Artur Abakarov You should create a new thread instead of replying to the one about the latest update. To help you out a bit, start by installing "Loco Translat" and check out what it offers.
Fatal error when editing courses due to Elementor page builder. If I disable plugin it works. Can open a ticket and send full error if that helps.

Something is wrong with lesson editor... Long time loading editor, and than blank page. So far I prefered the old, working option.

Jarek Kaniewski For me, it works (I don't use Elementor).
Anyone using my FCA Widgets plugin will need to update to 1.0.4 as it is causing an issue with the new course editor. If you use Widgets and get the critical error when trying to edit a lesson, disable that first before reporting to the FC team (seems there is other conflicts, so not just my plugin).

Shahjahan Jewel I think you should improve the update release process. You can't release an update without being sure that everything works. At least the key features like course editing. I know you'll react quickly with an update, but that doesn't solve the problem. I think you should create an additional group for Beta Testers who would be responsible for testing your final version, say, for example, 1 week in advance. This would allow you to fix any bugs and release a public version with peace of mind. I'm used to plugin debugging, and if the idea is accepted and the community agrees with it, I'm okay to be part of this group. I think 20-30 people are enough! What do you think?

Hotfix: 1.3.2 release (core free version only) to fix the course editor error issue.
Sorry about the compatibility update issue (with Elementor / beaverbuilder) for the new course editor.
It's a temporary fix, and we will work on the full compatibility as soon as possible. For now, if the new editor cannot be loaded, it will show a button to switch to the old editor.

When u're creating a course u cannot choose a topic, there's not field for that. U have to create first then modify so that u can view the topic selection Shahjahan Jewel

David Dobson I don't think it will be agood idea to use Gutenberg for the normal feeds.
- Why doesn't the Course editor use the Core Block Editor website language? For example, I'm using Vietnamese for my website and the FluentCommunity Course editor uses English, which will make it difficult for users. I hope it supports String translation or Loading according to the website language that the WordPress Editor uses 🙏
