Immediate plan of action
Hey team,
I was looking for a solution like fluent community for as long as i can remember. The way it is setup, with all the settings its amazing. I know its still in its early stages but the potential is hugeeeeee.
Having played around, here is my list of changes that i guess should be added/modified asap.
1. Integration with woocommerce or fluent forms so that students can be added to the group or course automatically.
2.Moderatoration / reporting for posts and abusive words.
3. Ability to setup default Group.
4. Integration with shortcode based video players like Presto player
Please feel free to add comments so the developers are aware of what the customer sentiments are.
Cheers.
My list, from my previous post, and two other points:
- As an admin, the ability to set a default discussions layout for all users: Iβd like to set the compact view as the default in the feed instead of the βexpandedβ view
- A formatting toolbar could be really useful, both in topics and comments. This way, even the newbies could use all the commands without any issues :)
- Changing how dates are displayed: instead of seeing "2 days ago," "2 hours ago," etc., being able to view the exact date and time (e.g., post from October 19th, 20:10 - and here Iβd also suggest adding the possibility to customize the date and time format)
- Custom emoji set: Iβd like to be able to import my old, beloved emoji from my previous forum π₯°
- Restrict or limit usersβ ability to delete or edit messages
- It would be great to have widgets available for the homepage to make the UX more enjoyable and practical, for example events widget, RSS feed widget or similar, to embed recent blog posts at the end of the community section, a global chat widget, to have it optionally in a fixed place on the homepage (or another page), popular discussions widget
- In the past, there were some unpleasant incidents in the communities where I was part of the staff, and some users wanted the ability to block another user, similar to what is available on Facebook. Invision has a similar feature, though it's obviously less powerful compared to Facebook's blocking
- A community calendar
- A calendar for each course
BTW, the integration with Woo, FluentForms and also with Paymattic already exist
Linda Rando,is it? How and where?
... Why now it works both? π
Linda Rando, you still need to manually enroll students.
Linda Rando, thanks Linda this is what i was looking for, I am sure this woudl work for a regular group as well as a course right?
Shanna Middleton, actually I don't know, sorry :(
Tanmay Kapse sorry, I missed your request for automatic enrollment
Canβt FluentCRM be used in the mix maybe?
Gerard Godin, thats already included. If you open the dashboard you will see it. Email marketing is handled by fluentcrm
Tanmay Kapse, you can also use FluentCRM to tick off number 1 in your list - it has actions for adding people to spaces and courses.
@oh is it. I will check it out
