If you could start over, what would you do differently in your FluentCommunity?

  • For example, less discussion space so the content isn't fragmented?
  • Onboarding?
  • Less effort on posts, more on courses?

Let's help each other.

The GS

This is such a great question. I haven't launched my community yet, so I'm here to learn from all the answers. πŸ˜ŠπŸ™Œ

I'd have taken more time to properly explore and set up topics.

Ross FCAΒ I've lost almost a year on that! It was in front of my eyes and i was chasing tech stuff!

Ioannis GlossopoulosΒ How would you have handled it in retrospect? I'd definitely have a lot less "Spaces". Almost flipping it around and having the topics as the Space themselves. In my use case, I'd have an Add-on Discussion space with a topic for every add-on, a Bug report Space with the same, a Feature requests with the same. Rather than a Space for every add-on with general discussion, bug reports, feature requests as topics.

Now I appreciate that topics are global however, there's still scope to flip it on its head and be able to see "bug reports" across all spaces but in a single feed, something I'd like to explore more.
