I noticed an odd thing in the system. Not major, but should be reviewed in one of the future updates. When I look at members, I only see members...that perhaps, have requested addition to a space. Now, if I add 10 users in Wordpress...all to the role of 'Communities Member', I do not actually see them in the members link in communities...until they have been added to a space.
So basically, if someone visit the portal or you add to a space we create the community profile and then that member will be shown. In the future, we will add feature where you can sync all the existing users to the portal.
so I tried to recreate this again. What I noted is that if a new user signs up with the most recent version...yes...they immediately show as a member. And what ever caused that seems to be remediate. For users that were in the system prior to one of the more recent upgrades (maybe 1.67 or 1.7X+ they show the appropriate roles...but they are not showing as an existing member. So we need a way to do housekeeping so that if a member is added to any of the communities roles (admin, leader, member) then they show up as a member when I go to the portals. I hope I am providing enough details on this....regards...bruce
