I'm building something new...
Cointacted Social Terminal is a fast, terminal-style dashboard for WordPress communities. Instead of clicking through pages, members type simple commands and instantly see clean, privacy-aware outputs.
FluentCommunity integration (already working)
- /online — shows recently active users (respects FC privacy)
- /whois username — profile snapshot (status, socials, level/points/badges/followers/spaces) with full FC privacy + module checks
- /spaces — space groups + spaces with Members / Posts / Last post (respects FC privacy and space settings like
hide_members_count) - /space keywords — search spaces by partial name, then select with
space #number, CLI-style
Everything is built to feel native inside FluentCommunity and its SPA, and commands are hidden from help if the viewer can’t use them (no confusing “empty groups”).
Why I’m building this
Most community dashboards are heavy. The terminal approach is intentionally minimal: one input, one response, fast data access, great for both members and admins/mods.
The bigger vision: Social Mining + on-chain rewards
The terminal is also the UX layer for “Social Mining”:
- Users earn points/rewards (from myCRED, GamiPress, and even native FluentCommunity points).
- Those rewards become withdrawable to crypto wallets.
- Reward logs can be published on-chain (with references to the original posts/actions), and users can claim their tokens directly to their wallet.
In short: community activity → verified reward logs → on-chain claims → real ownership.
What’s next
- topspaces, topusers
- courses commands (only when FC course module is enabled)
- More plugin add-ons (so the terminal becomes a universal “data console” for WordPress communities)

Abby W Originally it was social mining idea on which I've been working for multiple years. When I got social mining with mycred to work, I needed a dashboard that would output data, so I thought a terminal interface would be the best. When I got that done I realized the main product is terminal and social mining comes on top as addon. So first social terminal, then everything else. Free social terminal plugin should be approved on wporg asap, I believe in the first days of 2026, will let you all know. And I really appreciate your support, sometimes the feeling that nobody cares and/or needs it doesn't help to continue in style... 😊
