had a course set on public. Still the "Enroll this course" button doesn't let the test-user in (who can access everything else in the community)....error message something like "you're not allowed to join this course"
couldn't add the user manually either, because i couldn't find the user in the dropdown list.
The way through an FRCM-Automation > Enroll to Courses worked
Is this how it should work?
Manuel Müller if the New user is already WP-Admin user (Subscriber) then the user needs to log to fCommunity /portal for the first time and then you (Admin) will be able to see that user and Accept the user in the fCommunity. If the user is not in WP-Admin manually then you won't be able to see the user on a dropdown list as far as I remember.
But the fTeam is working on the registration form for new users so they will be able to Register themselves (if this feature will be enabled by the Admin).
In a meantime for testing and workaround you could try to add the New user directly in the WP-Admin > Users and ask the user to log to /portal > Admin will be able to add the user (Accept).
I believe you could also create a fForm to register the user - but I didn't test it yet.
Mat, the User has already logged in with their own credentials….the weird thing is: in the dropdown i don‘t see any of my registered community users (yes, all of them are subscribers with login credentials, community WordPress role and access to the community), but random people without access to the community
Have a wp user who can log in and access portal but this user cannot register to a course even if I set permission for this course to public (any user can enrol to the course).
To test this I use the plugin "user switching)
