Group Calendar
So I am wondering how i can include a group calendar for specific spaces? I was looking at Bookings and or Boards, but I am not sure how i could integrate that into the Space/Community?
For example, I am working on a HAO community where the committee groups will have scheduled meetings, activities etc..
Shahjahan Jewel can you answer this? I need to integrate event into my site, and am wondering if Fluentbooking could be a solution????
Tabitha Hawkins I've just created a space called Events that only admin can post to and set it to timeline view. Each post has the event name and date/time in the title, with the event description as the post. I manually copy this to a calendar I have published (I'm using a microsoft calendar, you can do the same with Google Cal etc), and I've added the calendar ics link as a Space link for the Events Space. Eventually, I want to set up an automation (probably with Zapier) that when an event is added to the public calendar, it automatically creates a custom post on my Wordpress website, and then modifying this script, that gets automatically published to the Events space - I just haven't had the time to set up the automation yet so it's all manual for now.
This lets people see upcoming events easily enough, and if they want to, they can subscribe to the ics calendar using the space link. It's a bit of a hack, but it works until the Fluent teams launches an actual event feature within FluentCommunity
