Get rid of Feed link in left side bar?
I'm hoping that we can get rid of the Feed link in the left sidebar. I don't see the purpose of that link at all.
Norm Sash I see your point how ever their is a purpose. This will only show content from spaces the user has access to. So in my case I have currently 9 spaces. Each space is private. The space activity should only display in the feed once you have access to the space. So when you login into the community you will be able to get a glance of every activity from all space you have access to.
Ryk Melck, I guess I can't figure out what the difference between the Feed link in the left sidebar and the Feed Tab link at the top of the page. So far I haven't seen any difference and, so for me, the sidebar Feed link is redundant.
Actually, if they are the same, there is a detriment because as a user I'm having to spend brain power (of what little I have) trying to figure out if there is a difference between them. IMO, just keep the Feed Tab at the top of the page.
Some on/off functionality wouldn't be bad to have. I myself aren't really fan of the feed either. But it's not a dealbreaker.
