GamiPress notifications not working inside FC portal - anyone found a fix?
Hey FC family!
Is anyone here using GamiPress with their Fluent Community portal?
I'm running into an issue where GamiPress notification popups don't open while inside the Fluent Community portal. They work perfectly fine on other pages of my site, but within the FC portal itself, the pop-ups just won't appear.
Has anyone experienced this and found a workaround or solution?
I've also reached out to GamiPress support, but I'm curious if anyone in the community has tackled this already.

I'm using gamipress, but I'm not using that notification, it would make your portal ui not look good.
I tried it but it wasn't nice at all.
The best thing is to setup notifications just as FC does for likes, mentioned, comments, follows. Where the notification shows at the top right of your FC.
You'll need the gamipress API .

They are not supposed to work like you say. FluentCommunity is SPA built in vue js. Only hooks are working in the backend, nothing on the front end of any plugin in the world works with FluentCommunity's frontend. It will never be like you say, unless gamipress will integrate their code into FC SPA, which is not easy done I must say. Each gamipress addon that works on frontend would need to be coded specifically for FC SPA and its not an hour of coding.
Cointacter Just finished a similar reply on another thread. A year down and this is still the biggest confusion with fluent community in my opinion, would be great if there was an "Explain like I'm 5" for new users to really understand why none of their standard pages work in this completely isolated non-wordpress/php environment.
Ross FCA bro, FC aint got even no proper roadmap, theyre busy, and for them talking to 5 year old wp admins is not something they would do at least not now :D
Cointacter But it seems it was working, as I got the following reply from the Gamipress support. 😊
"Regarding the notifications issue, it seems that the notifications stopped appearing after one of the recent Fluent Community updates. We are currently working on a fix for this."
Armin Pajula i really dont think so. Could be that they did actually make load all their Scripts and css in fluentcommunity SPA, but i would give 70% that their support doesn't know what theyre saying.

Armin Pajula yeah let us know here please, the fact that gamipress would load in FC SPA is a great info to know.
