fluentform_submission_success not triggering

I'm using this code on my form, but I never see the console messages. When I submit the form (same page confirmation type) I see the confirmation message, but fluentform_submission_success seems to do nothing. I have disabled all plugins except FF and SMTP and have even switched to a generic WP theme and can see that the entries are being saved, but still nothing from fluentform_submission_success.
