FluentCommunity Header and Sidebar Menu on all pages, Including TutorLMS

1.00

A couple of days ago, I asked if anyone is using TutorLMS with FluentCommunity, I did not really get a response, and the course built in Fluent is not rich enough, because I need Certificates, Assignments, Quizzes, Grading, etc that the builtin course does not support.

So, I ended up with this solution below, using the FluentCommunity Top menu and Sidbar as default for all pages without changing page layout, just like how buddyboss theme displays buddypanel and header menu on all pages.

I am still working to perfect this, I will share code while done, but I think this is a feature Fluent can easily add to the community plugin.

I will be very happy if the template can still replace thrive Aprrentice from Thrive Themes

2 days ago, I made a big switch from Thrive Themes Builder to wordpress 2025 themes, and I'm loving it so far. Both pages and posts are using the Fluent community frame. I want to extend the frame to Thrive Apprentice

I may be missing something but how is this different from using the Fluent Community Theme Compatibility page templates?

Justice Akorede

Thomas OatesΒ if you meant selecting "FluentCommunity Frame" for pages, that can only work for pages and post you create, custom post tyles, like TutorLMS lessons dont show in pages, secondly, Fluent Frame force the page content to be styled like Fluent Community content, instead on just adding the header and sidebar

Janet EyreΒ Duh...I'm an idiot. That makes perfect sense. In fact, I did something similar with Basepress knowledgebase. I am using the FC frames but I have it built to work with the Basepress post type.

Janet EyreΒ This is looking awesome already....will appreciate if you can share the code with the community at some point and/or if possible for Shahjahan JewelΒ to add this as an option (with the theme compatibility) soon?

This is interesting. Is it different from using the snippets at https://github.com/WPManageNinja/fluent-community-docs/blob/master/theme-compatibility.md ?

Justice Akorede

Jonathan GwyerΒ its different because the code from fluent override the page layout, it changes the design of Elementor, TutorLMS, etc and forces them to be displayed in fluentcommunity grid style. My snippet just adds the header and sidebar widget without changing the layout.

Still troubleshooting some layouts shift and dark mode toggles, when it's working perfectly, I will share code here.
