FluentCommunity Beta 1.0.60 Released 🚀
We just released another BIG UPDATE of the FluentCommunity Plugin with some exciting new features and bug fixes.
What's new:
- Lock Screen for Private Spaces: Design a Lock screen for Private communities. Now you create a sale flow for the space membership (via Fluent Forms / Woo + FluentCRM automation).
- Invitation System: Now you can send email invitations to someone to a space. The user can then create an account to join the space.
- Menu & Groups Improvements: We have fixed the bug for saving links.
- Course Improvements: Now you can embed video as RAW HTML.
- Translation Ready: Now you can translate almost all the hard-coded strings into your language. Please use any translation plugin like Loco-Translate. If you find any strings that are not translatable, please let us know.
- FluentCRM Integration Fixed: FluentCRM Integrations will work as expected now.
- UI Improvements: We have updated a few internal UI and UX
What's next?
I was on vacation for the last 2 weeks and enjoyed Canada's beautiful rocky mountains and lakes. That's why, I could not engage much in this community. I just got back today and it looks like our team already working on some super exciting features and improvements. Most importantly, our team is working on the overall UI & UX and the new UI will be super slick!
FluentCommunity will be the fastest, blazing-fast community plugin tailored for creators, agencies, and anyone who wants to build a community.

Terminology is still all over the place with Spaces, Groups, and Communities.
Nelson Miller,yes def confusing we need some clarity on this most def. Would make sense for a Space to be part of a community. But then we seem to have more than one community as well ?

I guess Groups are only placeholders: "folders" for Spaces.
Spaces means Teams where people focus on some specific interest/subject. We can have many Spaces (aka Teams) in the Community and those Spaces are assigned to a Group.
Community is just the top name for the plugin.
From the technical perspective the Community have modules/features like: Spaces. Members, Leaderboard, Chat , Courses. Those modules/features can be enabled/disabled by the Super Admin (WP Admin). Since Spaces are the core module it cannot be disabled so this plugin make sense.
ps. the primary slug /community (domain.com/portal/community) for spaces is just a name for the plugin. If someone would change the default /slug from /portal to /community (then it would be wierd to have url for Spaces like: domain.com/community/community
ps2. /portal it is the starting point where visitors can start their journey with the community plugin - that is why is called /portal not the /community 🤔
ps3. maybe it would be less confusing if the starting point would be called: domain.com/community (instead of /portal) and then if you have spaces - the url path would be: domain.com/community/spaces/SpaceName (where SpaceName = one or more Teams inside any placehoders: called Group (Groups name dont have to be visible in the url path since they have different meaning related to users permissions only).
ps4. I wrote this comment for myself too so I wont forget about it after installing the plugin with new WP Instance 🤣
Where do we download this from again?
Mohi Ahmed, I guess we can just update the current plugin version directly in WP - just click the Check for updates link in the WP menu: Plugins area to force the update checking for that single plugin etc.

Mohi Ahmed, the same way we installed it first time here is the link - if the link for download is there then you can still install it from there. I guess we cannot post direct link where the file is located for obvious reasons.
PS. also we could copy the /plugins/fCommunity folder manually but I know that this is not the case here.

Hi Shahjahan Jewel, I don't mean to be a pain. But it is impossible to create a Menu link. I keep getting a forbidden message in the console. Are there known conflicts with other plugins? It's really frustrating and just can't dedicate enough time on this until I know this can be resolved. Many thanks

To any one that reads this. The dam "Wordfence" is the the problem. You have to temporarily deactivate this and then it will work. Thanks for pointing this out @jewel.
