FluentCommunity Beta 1.0.57 Released
We just released another beta version of the FluentCommunity Plugin with some improvements and bug fixes.
What's new:
- Fixed Amazon SES for other regions: Now Amazon SES will work in other regions as well.
- Course Privacy Fixed: Secret courses will not be shown on the indexes. Manually adding/removing students will be available in the next version.
- Menu & Groups Improvements: Now you can remove space groups as well as custom links. Also, we have fixed the bug for saving links.
- Chat App Update: Also released a new version of the chat app with some improvements.
In case you missed the last update:
- Lock Screens:Β Custom lock screens for private courses/spaces have been added. Now you can build beautiful landing pages for your private course or space and if you want, you can redirect to a Form / WooCommerce product and connect it with FluentCRM to monetize your course or space membership.
- Emoji Support:Β Added emoji picker to comment and posts composer βοΈ
- Design Update:Β Updated a few UI & UX designs
- Core Framework Update:Β Performance will the main USP of FluentCommunity. We invested a lot of resources on it and we are continuing to improve the underlying Framework to make sure it always gets the lightning-fast performance with a low footprint on your server. π
Thank you again for giving all the feedback and helping us to build this product. Our team is working super hard to complete our initial launch feature set. I am super excited.
Please leave your feedback in the comment section. @everyone π
Chat app?
Rosvaldas Nudas, yes, we have a lightweight messaging app. You can activate that from settings.
Thanks team. I know I'm excited - I wonder if Shahjahan Jewel is even sleeping!
For wordpress? How can i download/purchase?
HASSAN BHATTI, Please check the pinned post here: https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/community/community-meta/post/fluentcommunity-plugin
I think this is almost ready to see the light... hehe
Shahjahan Jewel Is it possible to "enroll" community members to a course depending on their "leaderboard" level. I'm thinking to have some "courses" paid with money and some courses that will be released only for people reaching determined level on community points.
Thanks!
Another feature I'd like to suggest is events/calendar for lives or events for VIP members or people paying for it (as in Skool).
Thanks, again.
ππΌ Is this something you're considering to deliver, Shahjahan Jewel?
Great! I can see that not all strings are translatable yet. Any plans for making all plugin translatable?
I already have a website that is live on the internet but I want to incorporate a community for those that sign up
How do I add Fluent Community to my website because I can't find a link to redirect registered members
Please I need help
Emmanuel Oladipo, you can try to redirect users with Fluent Auth plugin if this US your case. If there is no need to redirect logged-in users to /portal slug maybe just adding a link (domain.com/portal) to the menu would be enough
How can random users register and access the community
I have been able to add it has part of the menu but if I open the tab in an incognito window it's telling me to sign in to wordpress
Emmanuel Oladipo, somehow you need to enable user registering with WordPress (or another way via FluentCRM). Once a new user will be registered with WordPress (by default give him a Subscriber role) then the user can access domain.com/portal.
The process of onboarding users is still manual (unless someone is using FluentCRM or FluentForms and knows how to manage users from there).
I belive we will also have the option to invite users that are not registered with our WordPress but this was a suggestion so far.
PS. Not everybody wants to integrate fCommunity with fCRM or fForms so there must be a way to onboard users easily etc. This fCommunity plugin and its users should be easily manage without any additional plugins but of course more plugins = more automation possibilities.
Not Important π,I really appreciate your help
Not Important, I use WP Cerber to do that (free)
Shahjahan Jewel sorry but he menu links still do not save.
Love it!
How can random users register and access the community because on my end it's telling me to sign in to my wordpress dashboard before redirecting me to the community portal
I have a live site already just want to add the community feature
Awesome!
Sorry to report that Menu links editing is still totally broken - can not save any we add, can not even change the order in the existing menus, always just says an error occurred. This is on 1.0.57
Can you add the ability to use a custom header / footer, such as the site-wide ones created via Elementor?
Otherwise it looks very plane and completely out of place - allowing us to use header and footer would mean this integrates much more effectively with an existing website.
Awesome!
Just noticed, "likes on dark mode"
It's awesome! It's fast. Love it (as always for Fluent products)
I created a simple Wordpress website with only 4 plugins:
- FluentCRM
- FluentCommunity (replaces Learndash + BuddyBoss/Skool/Circle)
- FluentChat (replaces BuddyBoss)
- WP Cerber
- Plugins not needed because we are selling in the community instead of funnels pages: WP Fusion, OptimizeFunnel, OptimizePress, Elementor, etc.
- I like this simple website with few plugins
- No need of expansive hosting
When do you plan to sell this plugin, please?
