Fluent Community Feed Restrictor

FC Feed Restrictor enhances the default behavior of FluentCommunity by ensuring users only see content from Spaces they have actively joined.

By default, community feeds can become cluttered or expose content to users who are not members of certain Spaces. This plugin intelligently filters the feed at the database level β€” creating a cleaner, more private, and more professional community experience.

If a user hasn’t joined any Space, their feed remains empty β€” encouraging structured participation and better engagement.

Built for performance and stability, FC Feed Restrictor integrates seamlessly into FluentCommunity without modifying core files.

Ton site est super lent ! J'ai un dΓ©bit de 8Go sur ma connexion fibre et tes pages mettent plusieurs secondes Γ  s'afficher.

WiLson Eberechi

D@vidΒ firstly I don't speak french, use English, secondly my site is not slow. Maybe your internet connection is slow.

Cointacter

I assume this is relevant only when privacy settings are set to public and for public spaces and for users who are public, right? Because otherwise the privacy settings already work, i even built things on top that work according to privacy settings, and all works smooth.

WiLson Eberechi

CointacterΒ oh yes for public spaces, since private and secret spaces don't show on non member's feed.

teethy

I really like this plugin. How does it work with members I follow and they publish feed in space I am not joined in?

WiLson Eberechi

teethyΒ this is for public spaces, posts from space you're not a member of will not show on feed or space, until you join the space.

Tom Palmer

I approached WiLson with this need, and he wrote the plugin.

And it works perfectly. Best $50 I've spent in a long time. If you have a unique fluentcommunity need, you might try putting it in front of him...

If you have a few spaces with varied interests, why not keep the feed clean by hiding public posts from a space the user hasn't joined, and has no interest in??
