Fluent Community Anonymous Posts π»
Give your community members the freedom to express themselves without revealing their identities.
FluentCommunity Anonymous Posts empowers members to publish anonymous posts within selected community spaces. With customizable anonymous identities, generated pseudonyms, unique avatars, moderation workflows, rate limiting, and privacy-focused controls, it gives community owners complete control over anonymous participation.
About the Plugin
FluentCommunity Anonymous Posts is a powerful extension for FluentCommunity that introduces flexible anonymous posting capabilities to your online community.
Sometimes members have important questions, personal experiences, sensitive topics, or honest opinions they want to share without attaching their real identity. This plugin makes that possible.
Community administrators can enable anonymous posting on individual spaces, allowing members to choose whether to publish anonymously or automatically anonymizing every post in designated spaces.
Beyond simply hiding usernames, the plugin introduces an advanced anonymous persona system that generates unique pseudonyms and avatars, making anonymous discussions feel more natural and engaging.
With additional features such as post approval workflows, anonymous posting limits, customizable identities, email notifications, and translation support, FluentCommunity Anonymous Posts provides a comprehensive solution for communities that value privacy, openness, and meaningful participation.

- Support and peer-help communities.
- Professional networking communities.
- Communities discussing sensitive subjects.

- FluentCommunity Pro: Not required.

Important Privacy Notes
The plugin masks member identities across the FluentCommunity interfaces it supports. However, it does not make members completely untraceable.
The real author remains stored in the database and can be accessed by authorized administrators and moderators according to the configured settings. Certain third-party integrations, author-based searches, and unsupported interfaces may still access the original author information.
Anonymous post notifications that could expose the real author's identity are suppressed in supported FluentCommunity notification and email workflows.
Public spaces are blocked by default because FluentCommunity Pro SEO pre-rendering and JSON-LD output can expose the real author's identity.
Why Choose FluentCommunity Anonymous Posts?
Anonymous posting should be more than simply replacing a username with the word "Anonymous."
FluentCommunity Anonymous Posts combines privacy controls, customizable anonymous identities, moderation tools, posting restrictions, and notification management into one dedicated extension.
Whether you run a student community, membership platform, discussion forum, or professional network, this plugin gives your members more freedom to participate while giving administrators the tools to manage anonymous content responsibly.
Let your members speak freely. Keep your community engaging. Put privacy and control in your hands.

Anonymous posts are not good, most of us run professional communities which do not require people to hide their identity, it will promote spam
Gilbert Mutingu JaddyΒ This is not for you and your community then.
Everyone uses their fluent community for different purposes, some uses theres for health issues discussions, political debates, rape victims, attempted suicides, exams/school manipulation and cheating, relationship and cheating discussion, and many more.
For example: one of my buyer of this add-on last year runs a health issues discussions community with over 2000+ plus members, he told me that members are trying to post but they're afraid of posting their situation to audience and getting mock, because depression is real.
So see it that way, a lady who was raped would want to share her voice and advice but she needs it anonymously so people don't laugh or mock her into depression.
Also, if you had read this post, you would have seen where there is a "rate limiting", admin sets how members use anonymous posts.
Example: members can post 1 post per day, or 1 post per week, or 2 posts per day the 2 posts cannot be spammed because admin sets time intervals for those 2 posts per day.
You didn't read this post before commenting.π«
This add-on is an updated version of feedbox last year, been writing the codes since last year. I don't use Ai to write codes to avoid bugs and to remember my lines of codes easily. I only use Ai to construct this English article "about the plugin", because English is my 3rd language not my 1st language.
Scroll down my post, you'll see anonymous posts last year, each of that post of mine carries 80+, 50+ comments. That's to show you people who needs it were a lot and I delivered it to them last year, so this is an updated advance feature of anonymous post.
Like I said, this is not for you and your communityπ
Shahjahan JewelΒ are there any plans to do anything about these kinds of posts? We're seeing more and more people trying to sell (yes, this is a paid for plugin) their add-ons in here. Not only is this not what I want to experience in this community, (being spammed) these are plugins that have not been vetted, security tested, etc. and by not stopping this behavior it looks like WPMN endorses it.
Erik BolesΒ Β coming under my post to cry about an external body building and helping fluent community plugins users is funny.
Do you know the definition of spamming or you just learnt the word newly? Did you check my profile to see the last time I made a post?
If it wasn't for external add-ons, many people would have dropped fluent community, even you Erik, your first post I saw here was you crying about having a dedicated page/course something which I volunteered to help you with it. You were even asking for add-on if I could remember correctly. I was definitely sure you were about dropping fluent community, if I and Ross didn't volunteer to assist you.
If you actually feel, you don't need an add-on, you can skip and let people who needs it get it. You think wpmanageninja isn't glad to discover they're external add-ons developer out there? Why did you think they shipped developer docs?
As for security as you said, I have about 57 premium members and 102 add-ons users, and no one, I repeat, no one has ever complained about that, thank you.
I've been here for at least 2 years with heavy contributions and help to many members on here, which you have never done before.
They're members I met here last year, and are no no longer using fluent community. I reached out to some of them and what they told me was fluent community don't have the features they need, I create it for them.
In fact, more than half of my add-ons are request from members here. They hit me up directly to create it for them, and I also decided to share it here for others who needs such features.
Fluent community would never meet everyone's needs or meet everyone's needs on time, even buddy boss have external add-ons free/premium created by externals.
Anyways I'm glad you're using fluentcommunity, because if it wasn't for I and Ross, you would have not been here, you would have left.π
Erik BolesΒ what's the problem? Personally, I am very happy that there are people developing plugins, whether they are free or paid. Their post doesn't interest you? Don't open it, don't read it, and move on to something else. It's that simple. But I, like many others, am glad to discover the different add-ons or plugins being developed that enrich the incredible FC ecosystem.
Like many others, I actually think we should highlight these plugin developers and give them a dedicated space where they can be grouped together, as they represent enormous potential for FC, which has been explained several times, for example:
https://community.wpmanageninja.com/portal/post/can-we-get-a-space-for-third-party-plugi
I therefore invite Shahjahan JewelΒ to think about it again, as he has shown he was open to this idea on several occasions.
And besides, regarding WiLson Eberechi, he is truly one of the most low-key. If you go to his website (https://mpaddi.com/), you will see that he has developed plenty of other plugins that he has never even mentioned here....
ProsperΒ Then there needs to be a dedicated space for it, not clogging up the feed.
WiLson EberechiΒ You're charging for it. this isn't 'giving back to the community' this is 'let me capitalize on a community I didn't build.'
Erik BolesΒ it's like you're a newbie here?
I've dropped lots of customs codes and add-ons, free. I've even built members fluent community sites free.
So having a token for my sleepless nights isn't good?
You're a lecturer lecturing students on your community, why are you charging those poor students? You should have made it free, don't you think? Robin hood.
WiLson EberechiΒ You are absolutely clueless my dude. The people I charge came to me, i didn't jump into another community and spam them. And I give zero effs how much "free" you've given away, no, it doesn't give you some weird right to spam everyone with a paid plugin, are you crazy thinking that's how the world works? I searched for "Anonymous post" in this forum. guess what came back? 5 people in the last 2 years asked for it. lemme make the math easy for you; that's 0.04% of the community - aka you are not offering up some huge missing thing everyone wants.
Let me help you out here since you clearly have no clue what spam is;
Someone asks for help and you decide to help them - that's community.
Someone asks how to solve a problem and you just so happen to have a plugin that solved that problem - that's solution selling.
You decide you are entitled to blast something to a community you didn't build in hopes that people will come buy your thing - that's spam.
Hope this helps.
Erik BolesΒ I don't care, and I wouldn't.
All I'm saying don't come under my post to spill words you can't define.
A lecturer who can't define spamming.
Right now, on this community they're people posting about their add-ons, you couldn't go there to comment but was fast to slip in your comments here, don't do it next time.
Just as they meet you, that's how they meet me to make add-ons, like I said more than half of my add-ons are request by members here.
You don't contribute to this community, you only cry about features to be added. Peace.
WiLson EberechiΒ I quite literally just defined spam for you because you clearly don't get it. Spam is a broadcast message to people who didn't ask for it on a platform you don't own to a community you didn't cultivate.
And if you took 15 seconds to search you would find that I absolutely have addressed this before. so no, you're not special, and it's not just your post.
This is a community about a product I paid money for, so yes I am absolutely going to ask about features and address bugs, that is what this is for. you will also notice there are plenty of comments from me applauding the WPMN team on things they're releasing, but feel free to hen-peck the items that you think substantiate your weak case for why you should be allowed to spam the community and it go unchecked.
Erik BolesΒ Obviously I don't disagree with the sentiment, there definitely needs to be a dedicated space for 3rd party add-ons so that this particular Space can stay focused on the core FluentCommunity users and it's support. I'd likely promote my own products on there if it existed.
In defence of Wilson though, he's no spammer. He's been working on FluentCommunity for as long as I have and has provided lots of support to users with his expertise over the last two years. I find he's generally quite respectful of the community and has built up some good faith credit here. His move to premium products was as natural as mine where users wish to reward someone's time they'd previously given up for free.
WiLson EberechiΒ I'd not take it personally! Erik like many others are definitely feeling the premium plugin fatigue on here and you're likely being caught in the crossfire.
Erik BolesΒ like I said, you're a newbie here.
Check my comments, you'll see I've drops codes, not add-ons or plugins but codes for those who requested for it even before wpmanageninja and sometimes wpmanageninja don't answer either or on time, and I'm not a member of wpmanageninja. Do you know why? Because I like Fluent products and I want it to grow.
I don't care about you, you're a nobody, never you come under my post to talk about spam when people that spam are right now spamming as we speak.
Since you said you know what spamming is, check the people right now who's talking about their add-ons and check mine and how long they posted. You're angry because I didn't make anonymous posts free, you should have been a free lecturer and stop taxing students.
Do you know I created certificate for FC, and certificate is one of the reasons more than 12 persons are using FC? It is now FC is making certificate which is more than a year, I created certificate last year October or so.
So don't come to spam my comment next time, you premium lecturer with security issues and no certificate as a lecturer.
Ross FCAΒ like I really don't understand the dude coming under my post to talk about spamming when obviously the people who spam are right now spamming as we speak.
I don't even post my add-ons here that often, and not all my add-ons are posted here either and this dude gets angry I didn't make anonymous add-on free for him. Something that's like a token price.
I'm angry for even trying to help fix his issues he was having with fluent community, maybe that's why he thinks he can spam my comment
These dude came to me directly, asking me to assist him, why didn't he wait for wpmanageninja?
Erik BolesΒ well just know, I'll never offer support for any requests you make here, you'll definitely wait for wpmanageninja to respond to you. And never you request for help or add-ons from externals, you must wait for wpmanageninja. Lecturer
WiLson EberechiΒ Erik is a good guy too Wilson. Don't like to see frustrations turning to personal attacks from anyone. You're a hard working guy and don't need to defend yourself with hostility. Keep a cool head and try see these frustrations aren't a personal thing. As Erik says, he's a paying customer of FluentCommunity and comes here to discuss and get support for that product. This is a problem for WPMN and Shahjahan JewelΒ to solve and shouldn't result in fighting between members.
Peace and love to you both β€οΈ
Ross FCAΒ Hi Ross, I'm also a paying customer, and personally, I come here because I like discovering new features and new plugins. Posts from people with minor technical issues annoy me, but you just have to not read them. So I don't complain and I move on to something else. On the other hand, I love it when WPM releases a new version or when one of you launches a new plugin or add-on. Censoring that makes no sense.
ProsperΒ there's 12k users here and bound to be a variety of opinions! I'm a paying customer too. I don't think anyone wants to necessarily censor it, just give it its own dedicated space - just like I don't pay for Boards, Support, or Forms so don't tend to visit or read posts on that. Or even have one of the admins endorse the 3rd party posts and stop the policing of content from users if that's their position? They have said they'll make a space for it though so hopefully it arrives soon.
