[FEATURE REQUEST] Creating a New Links Section

I would like to add a series of links to the platform, but the current location is not very intuitive.

1. Would it be possible to create an area on the right sidebar for link insertion, offering an alternative to the current location?
2. Is it possible to set up links that automatically trigger file downloads when clicked?

I have this need because each section will represent company departments, and I would like to make commonly used documents easily accessible.
