Enable File/Document Library for this space
Hi. Couple issues here.

Unless you upload files as a published post, I don't see a way to delete them from the UI as an admin.

Disabling the Enable File/Document Library for this space setting and re-enabling it brings back the files, so that tells me they are not being cleared from the site.

InfluenceWP, Hi, thanks for the report. Whether a file is published as a post or not, you can remove it by editing the post: open it from the Documents tab, click ⋯ → Edit, and delete the file there.
Disabling "Enable File/Document Library for this space" only hides the Documents tab. It doesn't delete anything, so the files reappear when you re-enable it.

UPDATE: The good news is that the default setting is to publish as a post, so unless you uncheck that box, you won't run into the issue I had.
I ended up having to delete the files from the uploads folder and delete a couple of DB records to get the files out of the UI.
Any update on this?
