Embedding videos from other sources than YouTube/Vimeo etc.

I am a bit frustrated after trying almost every option for video embedding via URL in regular Posts.
side note: to embed a video in the course page usually works with the code option (e.g. iframe etc. and further configuration. There was a recent post how to embed a video from bunnynet)
I would like to be able to embed a video (e.g. bunnynet or basically anything else) in a post via URL. Usually it doesn’t work as good as YouTube or Vimeo that it shows the player, but mostly it’s just a link or sometimes even something like a thumbnail, but to watch the video it opens in a new tab. So basically embedding doesn’t work.
Does anyone have a workaround?
Jonas Grätzer sorry if i don't understand your question correctly, but in my community i don't have any problems embedding bunny videos in posts....
just use the html option and your fine.... html-option doesn't work if you create a post via feed, but when creating a post in a space, the html-option is there
Aha! I never posted through a feed….
I think it could be done with the free version of social ninja.
