Embed Problem
I put the video link to embed at my site in a post but it didn't work. let's see if it works here.

Roger Wilkerson if you are referring to adding a video link to the post content and expecting that you will see any automatic embed/video preview so this wont happen because oembed method here works only for YT and Vimeo at this moment.
As a temporary workaround you could try to use a html code (woth a backslash character before the opeining tag) for video embed into a post - ref: link
