This feature needs some great improvement, seems like it only works with YouTube videos, unless there is a possibility to hide the branding there is really no better option for this at the moment.........

Yeah

I hope this feature gets improved

It says embed youtube or wistia. I think Shahjahan JewelΒ said they may look at other options too

Milen Grigorov

YouTube is censored, wistia is expensive compared to self-hosted.

None of these options is better for servicing local clients with private content.

I run local video streaming app with chapters and lots of other functionalities and it is kind of disappointing not to be able to use it.

We may need prestoplayer integration since it has beautiful styling otherwise we may need to preceed with Tutor LMS and Learndash as this grows. These integrations are highly needed....

A little off topic, but might be helpful: I use Cloudflare Stream and the embed code works perfectly and looks good. I'm migrating from LearnDash and so far, so good.

The idea is to be able to use self-hosted tools. This also includes direct embed of mp4 files and other self-hosted platforms and tools such as presto player or fluent video player if they code such.
