Email Notification Bug
I posted in a community of mine (on my site). Some users replied but I didn't receive any email notifications for that.
Maybe this is because I didn't define a name and email sending in the settings?
But when I mentioned @everyone everyone did get an email.
Also, should I use transactional or marketing email for those? isn't it sent automatically via my fluentSMTP settings?
Assaf Manor, when you use @ + Everyone mention/tagging then users are being tagged and that is the case where they get email notification (if the notification setting is applied).
Assaf Manor I am not sure if there are email notifications for comments (when the user is not being tagged or when the user is not the post author) and if this is your case. But if we enable email notifications for Comments (if applicable) then it might be high volume for mailing (although SES AWS is cheap).
Mat , Sure there are email notifications for comments. You can toggle these options in the Email Notifications settings.
Assaf Manor, I see the selection but for My Comments and My Posts (not any comment in all posts) or I am blind haha
Mat , Hahaha go to the portal settings, not your profile settings.
Assaf Manor, got it - I forget about the global settin. I guess the end-user now will be able to disable ALL comments notifications for the user profile.
BTW: Just wondering how many email notification s are being sent here with this feature ON - it might be a large number if all >1000 users will get for each comment the email notification here (#goodTransactionEmailWarmUp haha).
Anyway.. The Reporting dashboard (if implemented one day) could show how many posts and comments were submitted per day/week/month so the admin would have nice Community overview

Will the fix to the bug with the button of the invite appearing to non-admins also be released? That's the main reason I'm still not launching my community.
