Early impressions and feedback:

  1. I enjoy the overall simplicity out of the box. I imagine there will be ways to further extend it down the road as the plugin matures.
  2. I cannot delete a course once it's been created. I can set it to draft so it won't be publicly visible, but I believe there should be an option to completely delete it.
  3. There's room for improvement in terms of privacy/permissions. I don't believe users who aren't logged in should be able to see members of a community, leaderboards, spaces, etc. At the very least, there should some level of admin control over what's accessible for the public.
  4. I would prefer an option to disable the main feed page. I can see the value for certain applications, but for me it's more confusing than helpful because all posts across spaces and communities is in one place.
  5. I followed the instructions for the snippet you provided to edit the portal slug, but haven’t gotten it to work.
  6. I also tested the css snippet, which does work. Ideally both the portal slug and styling will be more tightly integrated within the plugin settings by the time it’s out of dev.
  7. More customization for course landing pages please. When I click on a course, it only lists the lessons and doesn’t display an image or descriptive text (see attached screenshot).
  8. I would like the ability to edit group slugs. At the very least, provide the ability to delete the default group so that we aren’t forced to have a group with the ‘communities’ slug.

After you change the portal slug you need to resave the permalinks. Did you do that?

Kevin Wick

Jaime Santiago, yes I made sure to do that. As I'm just testing things right now, it isn't critical. But I'm not sure why it's not working.

Can you link to the snippet to change the url to something other than "portal"?

+1 for the ability to delete courses\
+1 for the ability to control/disable the main feed (still confused with groups/spaces)
