Duplicate a course or lesson
Hey, hello.. I'm playing around with a fluentCommunity for a client, and she has created a fantastic training to learn Spanish for English-speaking students. But we are from the Netherlands and also want to help Dutch students learn Spanish. So now it would be really fantastic if I could duplicate that existing training and therefore adapt it with the Dutch language.
Is that possible, I don't see it myself. Or can this also be included as an idea on the roadmap?
In any case, it is nice to be able to duplicate a lesson if you have already created some kind of template there and then actually only have to change your texts and such..
I'd like to hear it.
Indeed I really miss this option, along with some other improvements..
- The ability to move lessons to other sections within the course
- I miss the option to edit the slugs
- I really miss another layer inside the course structure
- It would be lovely to display the course image above the table of contents
- And duplicating an entire course, section, or lesson would save indeed SO much time!
These would be fantastic improvementsβIβm keeping my hopes up! π
Happy to say I have this working and will include it in the next FC Everywhere update.
Ross How do you add functions from the backend ? I don't know how to write code but I imagine that by identifying the hooks one could create functions.
Is there any way to connect the AI with the code sheets ?
Sombri LunaΒ I'm adding requested customisations to a plugin I've made. If you look down the past posts here you'll see it. I'll include course duplication in the next version.
Ross HΒ Hi! How do I get this duplication feature in my Fluent Community?
Ashleigh TaylorΒ Give my Content Manager plugin a try, although I'm not sure it's duplicating lessons correctly, will update if that's the case https://fluentcommunityaddons.com/download/1731/?tmstv=1741268693
Not only copy, but also the possibility to add a lesson to more than one course would be great. E.g. an introduction lesson is often the same. When it changes, you have to change it in all courses. When you add a lesson to more than one course, that's not necessary anymore.
