Creating Scalable Group Access for Courses and Spaces
I understand that I can provide access to spaces and courses either by selling each one individually or by using a trigger in Fluent CRM to automate user enrollment in multiple private spaces and courses. However, I’m unable to set up an automation that grants access to a Group containing various spaces and courses, where the user can then choose which ones to join.
This limitation means that if users have already paid for a membership or subscription to access specific spaces and courses, I would need to manually add each new space or course I create, complicating the process.
Would it be possible to have an option to sell access to a Group where users can freely select which spaces and courses to enroll in? This would simplify management, as I could add new spaces and courses to the group, allowing users to decide if they want to enroll in them without additional costs.
It might be tricky to put a Group Access on top on Spaces/Courses access since it is build on a Space/Course level and have its own benefits and granular level inside the Group. Currently Menu Groups are only placeholders/containers and not the Access Group but of course this is something to think of especially if we will have to possibility to move Spaces/Courses between Groups with Drag and Drop method etc. But Yes. This is something I would also use it if correctly implemented.
Mat .,I understand, or perhaps instead of creating a group access feature, a feature could be implemented where, when adding a new course or space, the system automatically renews the access of all members with a specific plan. This would eliminate the need to enroll each user in each new content manually.
Mat .,Or you could implement an option to apply labels or categories to courses and spaces. When a new course or space is created with a specific label (for example, "Premium" or "VIP"), all users who already have access to that label or category would be automatically enrolled.
Are we going to use Paymattic integration for this or would it have its standalone payments?

Sombri Luna my understanding is that this is what spaces are used for...each space will be a container for all the users you want to interact together...you can sell access to one space that would be accessible only for free members, another only for basic members and another for pro members only, etc....

But I am referring to the specific case where I create new courses every month.
I need to give access to a group where new courses or tutorials are added every month.
And if they already have access to the full group, I don't need to enroll them manually, because they would have immediate access.
Not to mention that there are courses that may not interest them, so they would not enroll in all of them.
And currently there is only the function that if I have for example 10 courses when I offer a product that includes those 10 courses at the time of purchase the Fluent CRM system automatically enrolls them in those 10 courses whether they want to or not.

In theory what I need is to be able to create a membership where you create, delete, and update courses and spaces constantly, as in Memberpress.
Sombri Luna, I could be wrong, but my understading is that the course module in fluentCommunity is not meant to be a replacement for full blown LMS plugins like Memberpress / Learndash / TutorLMS, etc but a lightweight LMS.
Yes, groups are an important feature. We’re currently using Heartbeat.chat and while their group implementation could use some improvement it’s already very powerful. We use them extensively.
