creating a new user via fluentcommunity should create an wordpress subscriber user not an author

but where can i make this settings, it doesnt matter where I create an user inside fluentplugins, everytime my user is an author, which is no good thing.
is it better to deactive the wordpress-user-creating completely? what is the advantage and disadvantage of this?
