Course Pricing?

I love FluentCommunity! Moving away from BuddyBoss and LearnDash. But was very surprised to see there is no place to insert the price of a course when creating a course to sell. Why?

H Media

Moving away from active campaign and learn dash here. The reason community doesn't have a place for pricing is because this plugin doesn't actually handle anything to do with the sale. The process of collecting payments and even presenting a sales page are all things that need to be handled externally and there's a handful of different ways to accomplish that at the moment.

Hac MediaΒ yes but fc should integrate with these external systems in order to let the process be smoother.

For example I would like to have a woo integration so that we can add courses and spaces access and removal on product purchase or refund, just like it actually happens with fluent crm for tags

H Media

Tindaro BattagliaΒ You can integrate WooCommerce using WP fusion which is great.

I moved away from WC to sure cart but I still use WP fusion.

Hac MediaΒ I actually use it but there’s no integration actually between wp fusion and fc

H Media

Tindaro BattagliaΒ you do need to have some kind of CRM to hold the tag. WP fusion just allows you to link a tag from WooCommerce into whatever CRM you choose. An alternative to needing WP fusion or a CRM would be to use fluent forms as this has a direct integration with community and submitting a form can collect payments although it doesn't look very nice and it can easily manage tags.

H Media

At the moment it is not elegant or seamless, but given the roadmap and all of the conversations I've seen here I don't think there will ever be any kind of payment integration included directly inside community given the developers prioritization of speed. So if you want to use community you'll have to find a way to adapt your ideal stack to it.

Hac MediaΒ not correct. with wp fusion u can give access to learn dash group and courses with "link with tag" feature, rolling users when they buy a woo product without the need of FCRM. This, if wp fusion will support FC.

H Media

Tindaro BattagliaΒ I know about the link course to tag feature.

In my previous statement, I didn’t say that fluent CRM was required.

I did, however, say that some kind of CRM such as active campaign or many others is required because WP wpFusion must connect to someM in order to function.

Hac MediaΒ u can connect wp fusion to fluentcrm. As far as I know, jack Arturo is using fcrm as actual crm in his own site.

Just to add on what I've found so far. WPManageEngine has FluentCRM support for some features. Paymattic is adding features and I think it might not require FluentCRM. SureCart plus SurelyWP addon is a possability. Flowmattic released FluidCommunity integrations. But I'm not sure in terms of the best option going forward yet. I'm hoping WPManageEngine puts out some good info soon since most will want to monetize at some point.

Sascha Leem

If you need to monetize courses soon, it's better to use AcademyLMS in conjunction with Woo, FluentCRM & FCommunity, which gives you far more options regarding features & monetization options. I guess it'd take a few more months until courses in FC can be monetized easily
