But pride flag works 🏳️‍🌈

What could be the reason?

Windows is the reason; use a smartphone or MacBook.

Peng Xie It works on Windows. I used several flag emojis in Twitter posts and it worked fine.

Marek On Twitter, WhatsApp, or here in FluentCommunity, you can see the emojis when you click the emoji symbol because these platforms use custom fonts to display them. However, if you use the default Windows system fonts, the emojis will not be displayed.

Peng Xie When I click emoji flag via FC emoji picker, it shows only letters in the post. But why the same thing works on Twitter?

Peng Xie

Marek Because Twitter uses a custom font to render posts. Most Emojis should also display correctly on Windows 11. You can copy the “Segoe UI Emoji” font from a Windows 11 PC and overwrite the font on your PC. Then you’ll see the full emojis, too.
