Content Migration and App?
First of all - i love what i see so far! Great job!!
I think i might know the answer but i´ll ask anyways - Any chance (in the future) to import /migrate f.e. buddyboss group or forum content to fluent community?
The simplicity and lightweight is exactly what i´m looking for with one of my projects. I assume there will be an app sooner or later (right? :)) and therefore i´m wondering if we can migrate existing content once we make that move.
Exactly my issue. The best way probably would be to export the BuddyBoss tables (e.g. comments and posts) and import them to the FC table.
We got so many requests for migration from BuddyBoss / BBPress and I am happy to say that, we are working on it. In the ideal case, all the contents including posts, likes, comments, users, their associate groups will be migrated to FluentCommunity. I think we can ship this migrator within this month.
Regarding App: We are working with a 3rd Party app development company to release a common and white-label app. Please note that the app will not be included in this deal. That company will manage that app. But I can assure, it will be more affordable than BuddyBoss App.
Shahjahan Jewel, Will there be a LTD for the app?
Assaf Manor, I have no idea at this point. They will decide that actually but I will try bring a good LTD or special lifetime discount option for the LTD users of FluentCommunity.
